A New Ending:
1) Pick a movie you know well and enjoy.
2) Write a script for a new ending or a scene to either follow the last scene of a story OR to replace the last scene of the story.
3) Storyboard the script.
4) Shoot the script.

Portrait:
Your task is to create a video portrait of a person you choose. The subject can be a family member, a community member, a peer.

- Your job is to show the subject's everyday activities as well as interviews.
- What other elements in that subject's life might tell us more about the person?
- This piece is like a personality profile on your subject. By the end of the portrait piece the view should feel as if they know who the true subject really is.
- Your video should be a combination of interview with the person and others close to him or her and footage of him or her doing things that show who he or she truly is.
Chase Scene:
Plan a chase scene of any kind. Storyboard it. Shoot it. Edit it. Remember that a chose scene should contain MANY different camera angles. See the example on the right to get an idea of what you could do. |
