Dialogue Project
PreProduction:
Use one of these conversation starters to write a 1-2 page conversation between 2-3 characters. (The number of characters in your scene should be dictated by the number of people in your group).
Dialogue Starters
- “Ah yes, come in. Close the door behind you.”
- “Um, sorry. That one’s not for sale.”
- “You’ve got thirty seconds to explain to me what you’re doing here.”
- “I know this may be hard to believe, but I’m on your side.”
- “Who put this in my coat pocket?”
- “You have got to see this.”
- “That’s not a good look.”
- “I wasn’t going to say anything, but yeah.”
- “Well, that could’ve gone better.”
Production:
As a group, read each other's conversations and pick the one you will film
Film your Dialogue Scene following the guidelines established in the lesson. Be sure you film from multiple angles and shot types. You should be filming the same lines of dialogue multiple times to produce the desired effect for this project

Post-Production:
Edit your dialogue scene individually! You will each be submitting your own version of the dialogue scene that your group shot.
